Wow! I have always been intimidated by guns. My husband and I just took a shooting class, and the knowledge, skill, expertise and patience from John Daniels, was by far better than ever expected! I look forward to taking many more training classes! John clearly is the expert, and I would want no other training than given by the best!!!!

My wife and I have both taken the CCW, CCW renewal, advanced shooting, and defensive shooting classes over the past years and do high recommend John and his Defense Shot classes. I have been handling firearms since I was about 2 (with my father my teacher) but after taking the advanced class I improved my accuracy and confidence. We highly recommend and Thank John and crew.

Wind was crazy yesterday, but John is really good. I was an ok shot but when class was done, I was hitting in the X area. Simple things really changes your target.
He is patient, knows his stuff and very helpful.
I chose Defense Shot because I met John about 6 months ago at a Gun Store and he talked to me for 45 minutes. Not many people listen these days. Go see John or call him.

DF was the best training and qualification class I have gone through. I am going for my second CCW class because I let the first one expired. The first school I went through out of ION didn't teach just qualified. John made the class fun and informative. I will be taking his defense class soon. I was amazed how he helped me improve my shooting skills.

The Intermediate and Advanced courses are great! John and his team do an excellent job of taking you from shooting basics to working real world tactical scenarios! The techniques John uses not only help you quickly come up to speed but also enable a high level retention. My accuracy and speed to target has improved dramatically thanks to these two classes.
If you are serious about responsible gun ownership you need to be serious about training. Can't recommend Defense Shot any higher for your training and certification needs.

I took the Basic Handgun class and learned so much! Instruction was patient and precise. Minor details that could be larger overtime if left alone, were addressed and corrected. I left extremely confident and ready for the Intermediate, Advanced and CCW class.
John is a very methodical and patient instructor. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Defense Shot to friends who shoot, or those thinking about it.

By far best instructor and training I've done yet. I will be renewing with DS every two years as well as taking some of there other corse options.

Ccw 8 hour class. What a great class - not because I had to take it, but a class I think every hand gun owner should take. The way how the class is structured you learn about every aspect of being a hand gun owner. There were so many things I learned walking away from this class.

Defense Shot has a top notch program. I recently took the CCW course for renewal and was very impressed. John and his crew are very thorough and go through some great material both theoretical and from personal experience. The CCW program covers basic rules, instructions, equipment and scenarios. I feel more comfortable having taken this course over other courses throughout the years. I highly recommend Defense Shot for all your training needs.

Took the Utah and Arizona CCW class with these guys and it was fine. Interesting info and to the point. Will definitely go back for more classes. Price was good and location was comfortable. Some instructors have huge egos and attitudes especially when it comes to having women in their class. Not these guys. Friendly and respectful to everyone.

The people are friendly and there to actually help you and answer questions. I hope they come closer to my area so I can take advantage of so much they offer

I took 2 class here with John the first intermediate class and the second advance class all in one day I can seriously say I am now more prepared to carry a gun as a Ccw holder more confidently and i feel better prepared for a real world situation if it came down to it. I would recomend it to any one advance or not so advance I learned alot.
